Science That Is Fun for Kids

Science is an exciting subject for kids. Things have died down in the last couple of years because of videos games, computers and the internet. But there is still a lot of fun experiments and activities kids will love to do. Some of these kits or experiments are cheap, affordable or don’t cost any money at all. The best thing science will go is getting your kids away from the computers and out learning something new.

Tips for Picking the Right Home School Math Curriculum

Mathematics is an essential part of the core educational curriculum. Parents who choose to home school their children are given the option to choose which math curriculum best fits their students.

The most important factor to keep in mind when choosing the right home school math curriculum is the student. Parents must be aware which learning style their child learns best under. Parents must decide if their child is an auditory or visual learner, if their child works best with active learning, how much time is spent on instruction, and whether or not the student is able to learn in a step-by-step or sequential manner.

Visual learners often appreciate colorful textbooks and benefit from the use of video demonstrations. Auditory learners benefit from having the concepts verbally explained.

One of the world’s most beautiful cities is Paris France. And one of Paris’ great universities is the American University of Paris. Hybrid Education – A Highly Flexible Form Of Schooling

Hybrid education refers to a form of teaching that combines regular online training with less frequent or occasional on-campus classes. In a typical hybrid education course, pupils would complete most of their lectures and coursework online. They would then meet once a week or fortnight at the campus for face-to-face instruction and practical sessions.

Hybrid education resembles distance education and online schooling in a number of ways. One of the major drawbacks of purely online courses is the lack of hands-on training and personal mentoring. Certain specialized courses that require practical and hands-on training can therefore never be made available as an online-only course.

How to Speak French Like a Native Speaker – 7 Ways I Did It!

How to speak French like a native French speaker you ask? Is it even possible?

I assure you that it is possible because I have done it.

I made a career out of French and Spanish as a professional translator. I have also been a French tutor for the past ten years and one of the major challenges that students seem to have is that of speaking the language out loud wither with their peers or with native speakers.

They are afraid of making mistakes when they speak or of not sounding like they are speaking French because they have not quite picked up the accent yet.

You know what I am talking about. Sometimes you hear English native speakers speaking French with an English accent. This is normal and natural but it can be corrected with a few simple tips done consistently over time.
